Efficiency of Dissemination - Donor Funds To Projects - Based on percentage of total funds raised.
Using cash-on-cash accounting system the dZi Foundation has maintained a donor funds to project funds delivery ratio of 80% over the past 4 years. Keeping administrative costs to 20% of our budget is a benchmark few growing NGO’s can boast. The dZi Foundation is profoundly aware of the importance of funds delivery.
These percentages achieved without the addition of in-kind donations.

From 13 young girls in 2000, to over 15,000 in 2006, a remarkable and dramatic accomplishment as demonstrated by the above graph. We wonder how many more are positively affected as a result the dissemination of information learned through dZi Foundation educational programs, dental and optical clinics and cultural projects. The Foundation is inspired and challenged to greatly expand its reach, can you imagine serving over 30,000 in 2007? We can!

dZi Foundation - Financial History 2000 – 2010
(US Dollars – in thousands)

|
Positive growth supported by long-term commitment defines the dZi Foundation’s financial history. From early funding barely covering budget requirements, the dZi Foundation has evolved and financially matured establishing project reserve funds, considerable yearly cash carryovers, and long term funding commitments through our Visionary Society.
The primary key to growth is the dZi Foundation’s focus on maintaining constant, direct relationships with our donors. Personal involvement with our supporters, projects and recipients, coupled with strict fiscal responsibility, has proven a winning combination for the dZi Foundation. |
